Report on School Excursion to Australia of Junior High School

Seiwa Junior High School students in the 9th grade visited Australia for their school excursion from March 4th to 10th, 2015. They visited their sister school and each student spent valuable experience with host family.
One of students sent us description of her impressions after school excursion.

We had 7-day school excursion to Australia. I had no qualms about spending in Australia before departure and the preparations for the trip went smoothly. Looking for the souvenirs for my host family made me realize “Japaneseness” surrounded us. While on a flight, we were talking about where to go for the sightseeing with excitement. After meeting host sister, we stayed 3 nights at each family respectively. We had enjoyed visiting nature of Blue Mountains and Taronga Zood and watching DVD with my host family at night. I think I was able to make my ambiguous English understood with great enthusiasm. Of course we found many wonderful spots in Australia, though, this was good opportunity to make us discover the beauty of Japan. This excursion became a treasure for me.
